Electric Rates

As a residential member, your electric pricing is made up of 3 charges: basic charge, delivery charge, and energy charge. Electric prices did not increase in 2020 – marking the 5th time in 6 years that we have been able to keep electric prices flat.

Basic charge: covers the fixed cost of services for things such as metering and billing.

  • $20.50 per month

Delivery charge: covers the costs to operate and maintain the wires, transformers, poles, and other equipment it takes to send you power.

  • 2.624 cents per kilowatt-hour

Energy charge: covers the costs of producing electricity and sending it long distances to our distribution system.

  • 6.524 cents per kilowatt-hour
